Motorized draperies are a great way to create a comfortable and stylish home. If you're ready to program your Glydea or Irismo drapery motor, here's what you need to know:
Before you begin, make sure the drapery track is properly installed and the drapery is hung. Manually move the drapery to a middle position along the track. This allows for movement of the motor in either direction.
To initiate programming, press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously until the drapery jogs. A jog is a brief back and forth movement of your drapery.
The motor will then remain in programming mode for 2 minutes.
Next, briefly press the UP or DOWN buttons and the curtain will automatically run to record both hard stop positions. This means the curtain will close and open.
Now check the direction of operation. When pressing UP the curtain should OPEN.
If curtain closes upon pressing UP, you will need to reverse the direction of operation by pressing the MY/STOP button until the curtain jogs.
Confirm by pressing UP, which should open the drapery or DOWN to close it.
To finalize your settings, press the PROGRAMMING BUTTON on the back of the control until the drapery jogs.
Now, both limits are set and the motor is now in USER MODE.
A brief press of UP or DOWN will send the drapery to the respective limit. You can stop the drapery at any point by pressing the MY button.
Is your motorized drapery closing when you want it to open? Or opening when you're trying to maintain some privacy?
When pressing the UP button the drapery should OPEN. If drapery closes upon pressing the UP button, you will need to reverse the direction of operation.
To begin, move the drapery away from its limits and press and hold both the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously until the drapery jogs. A jog is a brief movement of your motorized drapery.
Next press the MY button until the drapery jogs.
Finally, it's time to confirm you've changed the direction of operation. Press the UP button and your motorized draperies should open. Press the DOWN button and your motorized draperies should close. You have successfully changed the direction of operation!
